Youth Programs

Every Monday, Starting 9/16/24. 

*Tot Time is not held when Grain Valley Schools are not in session (either due to scheduled days off or inclement weather)

Kids ages 0- PreK can explore and discover in our large indoor gym and come together to build & develop friendships! We have interactive, inflatable bouncers to play on! 

Parents can make new friends and mingle while the kids play! 

The cost is $2 per child, children 1 and under & adults are FREE!

YOU MUST CALL TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT FOR TOT TIME EACH MONDAY.

PLEASE CALL THE COMMUNITY CENTER AT 816-847-6230 BY 10:00AM EACH MONDAY TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT. 

WE MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 5 PARTICIPANT RESERVATIONS BY 10:00AM IN ORDER TO PROCEED WITH THE PROGRAM FOR THAT DAY. 

AT THE TIME OF RESERVATION WE WILL TAKE YOUR CELL PHONE NUMBER. IN THE EVENT THAT WE DON'T GET ENOUGH RESERVATIONS FOR THAT DAY, WE WILL SEND A TEXT BY 10:15 ON MONDAY TO LET YOU KNOW THAT TOT TIME HAS BEEN CANCELED FOR THAT DAY.

Join us for 6 creative playdates designed for 3 to 6-year-olds! Each session will include story time, crafts, a snack and play time all based on a fun preschool theme. Mini Munchkins is designed to spark creativity and promote socialization. Dress to get messy. A parent/adult will need to stay with the child and enjoy the fun!

2. Keep Calm and Gobble On  ~  Wednesday, November 20
3. Santa's Coming to Town  ~  Wednesday, December 18
4. New Year, New Fun  ~  Wednesday, January 15
5. Love is in the Air  ~  Wednesday, February 12
6. Leaping Leprechaun  ~  Wednesday, March 12
When: Each session will be held from 5:45pm – 6:45pm
Where: Grain Valley Community Center 
Fee: $10.00 Per Child/Per Session 

Ages

3-6

Youth Pickleball is a 6-week parent interactive program that focuses on skill development and fun! This program will rotate participants through stations that focus on the major skills of the game. Parents/guardians will be asked to be station volunteers. The fees includes a t-shirt and a medal for each player!
Please have participants wear comfortable clothing, and comfortable athletic shoes, and bring a bottle of water to each class.

Participants may bring their own paddles if they would like. The Parks and Recreation Department will provide paddles as well.

5-8

Join us on February 1st from 7:00-9:00pm for our annual Father Daughter Dance! 

This is the perfect date for any father & daughter! 

The cost is $20 per couple. (+$7 for each additional daughter)

We will have a DJ, snacks, beverages, raffle prizes, photos and tons of fun! 

You must be registered by January 27th. 

We hope you can come!
