Community Garden
Grain Valley Parks & Recreation offers a Community Garden for its residents located in the heart of downtown Grain Valley, on the northeast corner of Walnut and Main. The Garden Plots (4’ X 12’) cost only $20.00 to reserve. You provide the plants and we provide the beds (rich with garden soil) and the irrigation. You also provide your own tools and will be responsible for maintaining the plot throughout the growing season. Everything you harvest in your plot is yours to keep.
Plots will be tilled and ready for planting at the beginning of April and planting season ends October 1.
*Plots can only be reserved in person at the Grain Valley Community Center starting March 1.
