Have you ever wondered what it’s like to walk in the shoes of a police officer? Grain Valley's Citizens' Police Academy is an opportunity for citizens to have a firsthand look at the daily operations of the Grain Valley Police Department. GVPD officers and personnel from other agencies will conduct the courses, which will cover a variety of topics, including police K9, SWAT/tactical, accident investigations, criminal investigations, DWI, bomb squad, police weapons and more.

Who: Citizens, age 21 & up (must pass a background check)
When: Tuesday, March 3 - April 28 (6 to 9 p.m.)
Where: Grain Valley Police Department
